Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Trawl, a product-feedback analysis and spec-generation service (the "Service") operated by Pranav Cheraku ("Trawl", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You access the Service by signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to sign in.

The Service

Trawl lets you connect product-feedback sources and uses artificial intelligence to generate product specifications, summaries, and answers based on that feedback. We may modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time.

Credits and Billing

The Service operates on a credit model:

  • New accounts receive a one-time grant of complimentary credits.
  • Additional credits may be purchased in packs through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features, at the rates displayed in the Service.
  • Credit purchases are one-time payments. The Service does not currently offer subscriptions.

Prices and credit costs are shown in the Service and may change. Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • Upload or ingest data that you do not have the right to use;
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with credit metering, billing, security, or access controls;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
  • Use the Service to infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
  • Disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure.

AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate specifications, summaries, and answers. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise unsuitable for your purposes. It is provided "as is", and you are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it. AI-generated output does not constitute professional advice.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content and data you upload to or create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Trawl a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all content you provide.

Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Trawl and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other intellectual property.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm to us or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trawl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
