This Privacy Policy explains how Pranav Cheraku ("Trawl", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Trawl, our product-feedback analysis and spec-generation service (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information. You sign in to Trawl using Google. When you do, we receive your name, email address, profile-picture URL, and Google account identifier.

Content you provide. We store the content you create and upload, including project names and descriptions, the feedback sources you connect, feedback and reviews ingested into your projects, generated specifications, and chat conversations.

Billing information. When you purchase credits, we store your credit balance and transaction records. Payment-card details are collected and processed solely by Stripe; Trawl never receives or stores your full card number.

Technical information. We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember interface preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.

Third-party content. Trawl ingests publicly available reviews and feedback — for example, from app stores or public forums — into your projects. This content may include information authored by third parties, such as reviewer usernames.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Authenticate your account and keep you signed in;
• Generate specifications and answers using artificial intelligence;
• Process payments and manage your credit balance;
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service;
• Improve and secure the Service.

Cookies and Local Storage

Trawl uses a single strictly necessary cookie to maintain your authenticated session. We also use your browser's local storage to save interface preferences. We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers only as needed to operate the Service. Each processes information on our behalf and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes:

• Google — account authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — artificial-intelligence text generation
• Voyage AI — text embeddings
• Vercel — frontend hosting and content delivery
• Railway — backend and processing infrastructure
• Supabase — database hosting

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information there.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. When you do, your account is first deactivated and retained for a 30-day grace period, during which you may restore it by signing in again. After 30 days, your account and associated data are permanently deleted.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict its processing. You can edit your display name and delete your account from within the Service. To exercise any other right, contact us at pranavcheraku@gmail.com.

Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and isolation of payment-card data to our payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
